The plugin provides a modification to the existing cart removing the bounce to the cart and redraw of the screen after adding to cart.

Instead the user sees popups on the screen that show the progress of the operation and a cart summary appears on screen and fades after about 15 seconds. If an error occurs the plug in will attempt to display the error message from the Actinic PERL scripts in its own popup in place of the cart summary.

The plug in does not involve any changes to the Actinic javascript or Perl scripts but does depend on the users browser being javascript enabled. If it is not it simply operates as it would without the plug in.

The plugin is supplied as a design snapshot which provides the additional layouts and supporting files to allow the code to work. The plugin does not involve any changes to Actinics javascript of Perl files.
